Sharm has a subtropical desert climate, with very mild winters and very hot summers which makes it a year-round diving destination. The hottest month is July with an average temperature of 33°C (91°F) and the coldest is January at 18°C (64°F). The sea temperature is very warm from June to October, with its peak at 28 °C (82 °F) in August and September. In winter, the sea is a bit cooler, the lowest can reach 21 °C (70 °F) in February and March.
